Meals
Students are responsible for breakfast and lunch. Students find these meals easy to navigate with basic kitchen appliances (microwaves, stove, oven, coffee makers, toasters, and refrigerators) and food storage available. Most dinners are provided by the Music in the Mountains cook. Balanced meals are prepared and may suit dietary needs as requested. A $30 activity fee covers dinners not provided by the cook, including one at the Elkmont Farm House and the cook-out at the lake. In addition there is a restaurant for lunch at the lake and the Sweet Shoppe in the center of town, which is open until 10pm.

Rehearsal Space
Daily rehearsals and coachings are held at area facilities including the community hall, the David DeWire Center, the Lodge, and area churches. Time is scheduled for individual practice with emphasis on Music in the Mountains’ music.

Performance Spaces
At the end of the first week, students perform in area churches during services. The two-week experience culminates in a final concert at the David DeWire Center, the performance space in Eagles Mere. In past years, students have chosen to perform at local coffee houses and events, playing classical and improvised music.
